The footnote behind the asterisk is not confirmed here. A May 2021 city FAQ describes a single Solar Panel permit that combines the residential and electrical permits, and says the contractor needs both the New Home Builder/Remodeler and the Electrical Contractor registrations. The same schedule prices electrical work not tied to a building permit separately: a $100.00 base permit fee, services and sub panels up to 200 amps at $35.00, and an electric vehicle charging station at $30.00 each.
