Solar installers in Ohio
We are not matching homeowners with solar installers in Ohio yet, so a request from a ZIP code in Ohio cannot be sent. We are live in California, Michigan.
We have not yet checked Ohio's licensing authority and solar code, so we do not state them here. Check any solar installer's license with the state before you hire.

Keep your phone close for a call or text, because your job request has gone to one solar installer serving your area.
- 1Expect a call or text from the installer's own number, which you might not recognize, at a time we don't control. If your phone stays quiet, no installer took the request, so treat it as unmatched and use your state's license lookup to find an installer yourself.
- 2Ask the installer for a written quote with the total cost including financing, the system size in kW DC and the cost per watt before any incentive. Get its contractor license number, look it up with your state's licensing board, and ask who files the utility application and who pulls the permit.
- 3Reply STOP to a text from the installer and its messages end. To stop us sharing your details, use the Do Not Sell or Share page.
Before the installer visits
- Find a recent electric bill: it names your utility, whose rules govern the credit for power you send out.
- Note how old the roof is and whether trees or buildings shade it for much of the day.
- If you already have a system, gather the contract, the warranty papers and the monitoring login.
- Leave the roof and the inverter to the installer: you don't need to climb, open or disconnect anything for the visit.
- Ask for the license number and look it up with your state's licensing board before you sign.
